Food Revolution Day is a global day of action for people
to make a stand for good food and essential cooking skills. Food Revolution Day
raises awareness about the importance of good food and better food education
for everyone.
Dr. Laura Batson, IHC Naturopathic Doctor; Nathalie Breton, IHC Holistic
Nutritionist and Sofia Lopoukhine, IHC Clinic Manager spent several hours at the
corner of Bank Street and Waverley passing out bags of organic, red quinoa
along with two quinoa recipes and information about the clinic.
Over 150 bags
were given out to neighbours in Centretown Ottawa to introduce and educate them
about the health benefits of eating quinoa and to become more familiar with the
range of alternative health services IHC offers.
Integral Health Clinic’s
activity was one of a thousand activities happening in over 75 countries
celebrating Food Revolution Day.
