at the university of York. A more recent study from China found
that acupuncture was effective in the treatment of depression and helped with
different personality traits such as hysteria, paranoia and social introversion.

of different studies found an association between schizophrenia and gluten
sensivity. Another study
published in the Journal of Bipolar disorder found an association between casein
(milk protein) and mood symptoms of bipolar sufferers.

herb, Mamsyadi Kwatha, commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine has anti-depressant
activity.
Massage
In a study published
in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, massage
was shown to be an effective treatment for symptoms of depression.
Nutrition
Magnesium deficiency has been shown to
give rapid recovery to major depression, according to research in the USA. Researchers from Denmark
found that low levels of B6 in the blood were associated with depression
symptoms.
