What is mesotherapy?

Although initially developed for the treatment of sports injuries and other forms of musculoskeletal problems such as arthritis and low back pain, Mesotherapy is also widely used in aesthetic medicine for things such as alopecia, facial rejuvenation, cellulite and localized fat accumulation. This therapeutic approach involves injecting very small amounts of natural medicines into the superficial layers of the skin in order for the substance to create as much a local effect as possible. Multiple injections are performed in a matter of minutes and with minimal discomfort for the patient.
